Provide a statement highlighting the reason behind following a career within the law enforcement position, consider what caught your eye to this department and position and why you should be accepted within our department. Explain your reasoning behind being a better candidate than other applicants and with the statement below it.

3.1 - Why do you wish to join the San Andreas State Police? (Minimum of 300 words):

I wish to join the San Andreas State Police because I have always witnessed how they work and function. I don't have a lot of knowledge of how they work internally. However, I was always willing to learn and become like them one day. I left college not too long ago, and I wasn't good at education, I struggled to get a degree. I think the easiest path to always take is to apply for the State Police. This gave me the courage to apply for a level where I will be wearing a badge and representing the State Police.
During my teenage years, I always respected the fact that police officers are on the streets all day and night to make us feel safe and fight crimes of any type. This made me have a huge amount of respect for the state police, making me feel like I want to pay some of the debt they owe me by becoming one of them and focusing on protecting others, fighting crimes, and taking care of new generations.
From what I have always witnessed, police officers are always equipped with unique pieces of training and tactics that make them a little overpowered in comparison to the crime or whatever they are going through. I always thought about the pieces of training they get. I challenged myself, promising her that one day I would probably make it there and go through the same pieces of training and tactics so I would become one of them.
I always read about the chain of command. I'm aware of how it educates you to respect higher ranks and stuff alike. But I also found the art of friendship in it. The way people can still be friendly to each other with a gap of two or three ranks is unique. This is something you can barely find outside the department. However, I'm so ready to cover any training upon acceptance, I have always wanted to stand this chance at any cost, I deeply respect this governmental division, and I'm willing to dedicate myself to it.
