Provide a statement highlighting the reason behind following a career within the law enforcement position, consider what caught your eye to this department and position and why you should be accepted within our department. Explain your reasoning behind being a better candidate than other applicants and with the statement below it.
3.1 - Why do you wish to join the San Andreas State Police? (Minimum of 300 words):
My name is Edwin Espinoza and I was born and raised in Los Santos, Las Collinas. At the time when I was a child, Las Colinas was not in its best condition, and the crime rates were pretty high. I remember my mom telling me not to hang out outside at nights, and sometimes I would wake up to the sound of gun shots between some outlaws. Eventually this what caused my family to move out of Las Colinas to the County, in Montgomery. I was still young when we moved to the county, and yet I still have most of my friends back in the big city, and I remember struggling to make new friends at school.
Moving out of Los Santos highly motivated me during my life to make choices that can affect my life and those who surround me. As years passed, I appreciated more and more the police work I see on the streets, and it fed my desire of wanting to join the San Andreas Police Department. Contributing to society by serving and guarding the community is something I know I can do.
I see a great opportunity for me to start my career in the State Police, and invest my time in saving life, and making the world a better place. I did consider the risks that the job provides, and it took me time to accept it with myself. My motivation to contribute to socitey is what motivates me the most to apply for this job.
Lately, I've been struggling financially and most places don't hire people with no previous experience except the State Police. I need a steady job to pay for my financial goals such as my resident and my car, and not some part time jobs that constantly lead me to a dead and looking for a new job.
