Provide a statement highlighting the reason behind following a career within the law enforcement position, consider what caught your eye to this department and position and why you should be accepted within our department. Explain your reasoning behind being a better candidate than other applicants and with the statement below it.
3.1 - Why do you wish to join the San Andreas State Police? (Minimum of 300 words):
Because I believe in accountability and team effort, and that every sane man, including myself, or woman should be held accountable for their actions. With that in mind, not only do I intend to enforce the law, but de-escalate and prevent them from occurring in the first place.
I can say with all confidence that being born and raised within the community of Red County has given me a great understanding of the people of Red County.
I wish to be a trooper so the city can make use of numerous skills which include attention to detail troubleshooting and problem-solving, multi-tasking, and critical thinking. I hold a doctoral degree in criminal justice and I know it'll come very much in handy when working as a state trooper. I favor business/work over leisure and rest, duty may and will call at times when one has always to be prepared when it comes to working for a law enforcement agency, and I without a doubt can say that I love being prepared and I know that this will also come in handy when serving the state as a trooper.
I love interacting with the community and enjoy teamwork/engaging in events within the city of Red County because at the end of the day, we're here to serve the state and the people within, it's only advantageous to get to know the people we're serving and protecting. That's one of the reasons why I've chosen to become a state trooper, and that is to solidify the relationship within the community we swore to protect while enforcing the law to the best of our capabilities.
I believe in diplomatically resolving disputes and altercations, and I believe that the state academy will teach and sharpen my skills to effectively utilize them in the field.
