Provide a statement highlighting the reason behind following a career within the law enforcement position, consider what caught your eye to this department and position and why you should be accepted within our department. Explain your reasoning behind being a better candidate than other applicants and with the statement below it.

3.1 - Why do you wish to join the San Andreas State Police? (Minimum of 300 words): There are several reasons as to why I want to enlist in the San Andreas State Police, however, the two main ones would have to be simply finding a stable job with advancement opportunities where I can finance my family; and due to the fact that this job has very interesting and exciting work to offer which I am thrilled to potentially be part of. I had been a victim of crime and was picked on very heavily during my early and late teenage years and was unable to find any way to successfully defend myself until I started practicing mixed martial arts. My mixed martial arts knowledge coupled with situational awareness makes me a great candidate for the San Andreas State Police and I believe that the life experiences I've garnered so far have helped me become a grown and mature individual ready to take on a serious career and contribute all my efforts toward bettering the community and ensuring the crime rate stays as minimal as possible. I wish to join the San Andreas State Police because the work is simply prestigious and I have nothing but pure admiration for all the state troopers putting their lives on the line every single day to ensure the community's safety. I would love to take up the opportunity of helping the people in the community and enlisting in the police force has been a lifelong dream for me as well, however, I have only now entered the period in my life in which I'm able to consistently put in the work and dedication toward becoming a state trooper. I am thrilled to enforce the laws of the society with the companionship of other like minded people in the same position as myself and I find this an absolutely suitable job for myself once we take into consideration my soft and hard skills which consist of my teamwork and task managing abilities.
