The prospect of representing an organization that maintains public order and commits to earning the public's respect through upholding justice and fairness is something that aligns with me at my core and an honor that can't be missed.
Growing up in a derelict Palomino Creek, I've walked over hot coals to avoid the increasing burden of crime that once plagued our town. I was taught by my parents to always give back to the community and to make the most of every situation. Even one time as a child I gave a homeless person my lunch because I knew they'd need it more than I do.
In addition, I've done voluntary work for public events where I've worked alongside others to create a sense of cohesion in dire times. Through these voluntary events and work experiences I've picked up on leadership, safety, and critical-thinking skills that have helped me collaborate in a team, and indulge in problem-solving that benefitted a larger demographic. As such, I believe the quality of positive impact is something of vital importance for the State Police.
I see a great opportunity in choosing to dedicate to a field where I can fully embrace the sense of duty, and help create an environment of trust and safety. Regardless of the challenges that await. My motivation stems from the desire to create harmony in our society by guiding and developing others.
The ongoing need for law enforcement has allowed me to build up the courage to apply. I admire the dynamic profession that this is and I'd like to refine and hone my legal knowledge of procedures and principles to effectively aid those in need. I hope to one day scale my courageous background in serving alongside countless others, brave men and women in an unending mission of law enforcement. To take part in the San Andreas State Police would solidify that.
