Provide a statement highlighting the reason behind following a career within the law enforcement position, consider what caught your eye to this department and position and why you should be accepted within our department. Explain your reasoning behind being a better candidate than other applicants and with the statement below it.

3.1 - Why do you wish to join the San Andreas State Police? (Minimum of 300 words):

I have watched plenty of speeches from law enforcement officers and high ranking officials, who either had a professional or a more passionate approach towards the job, either encouraging community relations or warning dangerous criminals of the consequences that there can be if they continue their activities and even offering alternatives towards a better life. Each time I called the emergency services I was helped by troopers and I have been in situations where they saved my life. I respect the state police and I appreciate the work they do, I see the troopers as role models for our community and I trust the leaders of the departments. I have great interest in joining the patrol division of the state police as I am confident that I am suitable for such position and I strongly believe that it will become a passion to me as well.

My current work place also involves working for the community, transporting the goods and materials that people and businesses need in order to run. I have been working long hours, I am always careful and I do my job properly, there is a clear indicator of this by looking into my history where there are no instances of damaged cargo. After doing hundreds of cross-county transports in heavy trucks I can say that I know the roads well, I communicate with ease with other people, I can keep calm and I can respect a detailed working plan either when I work alone or in a team. I respect the working program, I am honest and professional when it comes to work.

Having mentioned a few of my abilities, I appreciate the time that you have taken to read my statement and I am looking forward to a great career.
