Seems promising. Hopefully, roleplay standards skyrocket and the high command members grasp the idea that police doesn't always have to win situations and they are not there to police the server but to rather provide quality law enforcement roleplay. The core aim of transition to Sheriff's Office was to improve the roleplay standards, however, that aim was lost and all roleplay returned to its prior state. I hope, proper aims are in the mind of the high command and it is expected of them to translate and express their aims properly and audibly so that everyone is aligned, following the same overall objective.

The team consists of highly capable people, please do not forget the goal of this transition and maintain it throughout. Again, please eliminate this 'play-to-win' mentality, remember that SP is there to provide quality roleplay to community members not to police them and we don't have to win every situation. Sometimes, Police can lose too. Further, please eliminate the 'only friends get promoted' and introduce new people into command and high command to establish a new culture within the organisation. And, Holmes and the High Command, it is you who will lead the organisation and thus establish a culture. Please lead with example, set a culture that only encourages roleplay and translate this to everyone in faction, to the bottom of the ladder. And I know you can do this. Do not let this opportunity to go to waste, do not let your potentials go to waste.

Another issue that has been present over the years is inconsistency especially recently, the policies and procedures differ from member to member, they do whatever they want. It is the high command's responsibility to task the command and the sergeant's team to enforce the consistency. Consistency is crucial to a Police Department, it displays an overall less confusing image to the public and is more realistic.

One solution to all is, firstly, task the command and supervisory teams to tackle these issues and enforce these regulations upon existing members. However, it is very imperative that at the point of induction and introduction, the probationary officers are instilled with this core aim, the purpose, a culture of roleplay, a culture of equal opportunities, a community tightly knit, a community which together enjoys the law enforcement roleplay, a community which understands that it is not always the case that we will win and it is COMPLETELY okay to lose and they shan't be reprimanded for their actions should they lose situations BUT RATHER ADMIRED for their quality roleplay. This is where academy classes and specifically Field Training Officers came into place. They are the first point of contact for the probationary troopers. On these shall be their entire careers and style of roleplay be based.

The aforementioned comments are my opinions gathered over a period of three-four years of consecutive service within State Police and Sheriff's Office under numerous leaders. Good luck to Holmes and the company, you guys have a lot of potential if properly realised! I hope your goals and objectives are accomplished. God bless.
