Reinstatement Information
If you were previously employed by this department or any of the below.
  • San Andreas State Police (previous iteration)
  • San Andreas County Sheriff's Office
  • Red County Sheriff's Department
  • Red County Police Department
  • Bone County Sheriff's Department
  • San Andreas State Troopers
  • and/or San Andreas Bureau of Investigations,
then you may be able to reinstate into the San Andreas State Police.

If you were honourably discharged and there was no future grievance from your employer at the time, then you may apply for reinstatement. However, if your discharge was dishonourable then you must go through the disciplinary hearing process first.

Please check the requirements below before you apply for reinstatement.

Application Requirements
  • You must have no criminal charges, regardless of severity. (i.e. Misdemeanour or any class of felony.)
  • Your health both mentally and physically must be at an acceptable level.
  • If your discharge was honorable, please leave seven days before requesting a reinstatement.
  • If your discharge was dishonorable, please leave fourteen days before requesting a reinstatement.
  • If your reinstatement was rejected for any reason, please do not re-apply within seven days.

* Reinstating, and then failing to report for duty within the first seven days will result in a three month blacklist from the department which is non-disputable.
